Provides day-to-day HR support, resolves employee inquiries, and assists with compensation and benefits administration. Provides day-to-day HR administration for approximately 15 employees, including records, attendance, leave, onboarding, payroll coordination, labour compliance, health checks, and recruitment support. Processes supplier, salary, and bonus payments; monitors bank balances; prepares reports; organizes expenses and accounting documentation; and liaises with external accounting, payroll, labour, and social insurance specialists. Supports the Japan management team and communicates HR and finance matters to UK Headquarters.

Serves as the primary HR contact for Japan-based employees, providing bilingual guidance on policies, employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, engagement, and benefits. Partners with local leaders and global HR teams to support cultural transformation, ensure Japanese labor-law compliance, improve HR processes, and prepare reporting and analysis. Requires empathy, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to bridge Japanese and global workplace practices.

Coordinates worker dispatch and project activities, including maintaining plans and schedules, organizing meetings, distributing minutes, tracking decisions and actions, supporting documentation, and ensuring framework compliance. The role also provides administrative support, conducts employee consultations and career development programs, and requires knowledge of labor laws, worker-dispatch regulations, and HR or employment management.
