Lead cyber and operational resilience across critical national infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing crisis management frameworks, governance, playbooks, simulations, readiness testing, incident response procedures, resilience culture initiatives, regulatory compliance, and executive crisis support. The role also leads a resilience team, assesses emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and works with security, threat intelligence, operational technology, government, regulatory, and industry stakeholders.

Leads a team overseeing operational risks across technology, cyber, and data. Responsibilities include allocating resources, reviewing risk assessments, testing controls, monitoring threats, evolving risk policies and appetites, preparing executive reporting, and representing the oversight function at governance committees. The role acts as deputy to the Head of Operational Risk Oversight and provides independent challenge, strategic direction, team development, and assurance to senior management.

Own and mature the enterprise security program: manage identity/SSO, EDR, MDM, and SaaS security; secure cloud and developer stacks (GitHub, AWS, GCP); run vulnerability management, backup testing, and incident response; ensure endpoint lifecycle governance and maintain compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

Lead and execute integrated IT audits and examinations for insurance clients, managing project plans, teams, budgets, deliverables, and client communications. Assess information systems risks and controls, perform security and compliance testing (SOX, MAR, SOC), support business development, mentor staff, and deliver high-quality audit reports and training. Occasional travel required.

Lead IT risk assessments, evaluate and document inherent and residual risks, partner with stakeholders to develop and monitor risk response plans, support enterprise IT risk and cyber security initiatives, maintain risk management procedures and best practices, and communicate risks across ITS and business units.
