Develops thought leadership and research content on commercial measurement, growth, and decision-making. Responsibilities include drafting and editing blogs, social posts, reports, whitepapers, and executive presentations; shaping research questions and evidence plans; analyzing survey and proprietary data; creating charts and evidence summaries; synthesizing academic and industry research; and collaborating with senior experts and cross-functional teams.

Translate findings into actionable insights that improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and decision-making. Collaborate with operations, engineering, HSE, supply chain, IT, and field teams; support data workflows, tool rollouts, application administration, end-user education, process automation, and analytics modernization.

Supports underwriting managers and underwriters on the Starr Tech Property team. Responsibilities include communicating with brokers to collect submission information, preparing and reviewing quote proposals and binders, assembling policies, creating underwriting files, and following up on outstanding account subjectivities. Requires professional communication, independent work, teamwork, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Develop software features independently with guidance from senior team members. Write standards-compliant code, assess application performance, apply data structures and algorithms, and contribute to testing, documentation, refactoring, security, scalability, and continuous integration. Collaborate on cross-functional Scrum teams while estimating tasks, adapting to changing requirements, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Supports financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and operational analysis. Analyzes financial and operational data, KPIs, trends, and variances to deliver actionable insights. The Assistant Director of Finance develops financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and plans; ensures legal compliance and accurate reporting; partners with department heads on resource allocation; identifies and mitigates financial risks; and leads and develops the finance team. The role requires hospitality accounting knowledge, strong spreadsheet and Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical ability, leadership skills, and schedule flexibility for weekends and holidays.
