Oversee MetLife’s international General Account investment portfolios across asset classes and markets. Partner with regional CIOs, local investment teams, risk management, finance, and asset management groups to align investment strategies, optimize asset allocation, monitor portfolio risks, assess complex transactions, and ensure compliance with investment guidelines. Communicate performance and outlook to senior management, stakeholders, and regulators while mentoring junior talent.

Lead oversight of $100B+ in general account investments across asset-based finance, structured finance, residential mortgages, and alternatives. Shape sector investment approach, monitor macro and sector trends, align MIM activity with MII strategy, partner with risk, operations, finance, and regional CIOs, communicate performance to senior stakeholders and regulators, assess complex transactions, and mentor junior talent.

Leads MetLife’s Technical Accounting Group and supports Internal Controls. Advises global leaders on complex accounting issues, new products, regulatory guidance, financial reporting, and policy changes under US GAAP, IFRS, and U.S. statutory requirements. Oversees technical accounting research, position papers, financial statement reviews, SOX governance, finance policy certification, employee training, stakeholder management, and team development. Also drives process improvement through AI-enabled agents.

Lead actuarial valuation and reporting for US GAAP and local statutory balance sheets and P&Ls. Analyze results, explain variances, coordinate reserving and accounting practices with Financial Controllers, monitor assumption updates and new product impacts, execute controls and sign-offs, support internal and external audits, and communicate results through reports, templates, memos, and presentations.

Manage month-end accruals, reinsurance accounting entries, statements, reconciliations, settlements, reporting, and audit support. Resolve stakeholder and reinsurer queries, validate treaty data, perform UAT for systems and reporting templates, and identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.

Performs and documents IT control testing, issue validation, and audit procedures throughout the audit lifecycle. Supports audit planning, meets deadlines, communicates technology risks, and engages stakeholders across the organization. The role provides assurance over technology risks and controls across areas such as cloud, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, infrastructure, data governance, and application development, while using data analytics and digital audit tools.

Leads technology assurance and risk advisory engagements across cybersecurity, cloud, ERP, AI, data, and business transformation initiatives. Manages the full IT audit lifecycle, develops risk-based audit plans, evaluates issues and controls, presents findings to senior leadership, and applies analytics, automation, and AI to improve audit effectiveness. The role also develops team members, manages stakeholders, and influences enterprise risk management practices.

Participates in MetLife’s Actuarial Development Program, rotating through actuarial assignments such as pricing, product development, reserving, modeling, financial analysis, asset-liability management, and investments. Performs actuarial calculations, data analysis, risk evaluations, research, reporting, and recommendations for the retirement business. Collaborates with internal and external partners, supports reporting automation, presents projects to senior management, and prepares for Society of Actuaries examinations toward the FSA designation.

Leads systematic fixed income portfolio management for institutional and retail strategies. Develops quantitative investment strategies, conducts fixed income research, builds forecasting and portfolio construction models, executes trades, monitors risk and performance, and engages clients. Maintains data infrastructure and software for research, portfolio operations, and reporting using disciplined CI/CD practices.

Maintain and update daily financial reports, integrate ledger values, perform reconciliations and variance analysis, produce stakeholder-tailored reports with embedded analysis, and support audit coordination by preparing US business policy-level accounting and non-accounting data for external auditors.
