Supports Mastercard’s ESG controllership and reporting function by coordinating sustainability reporting workstreams, regulatory implementation, ESG metrics, Workiva workflows, disclosure preparation, documentation, and assurance readiness. The role evaluates reporting methodologies, supports climate and GHG reporting, monitors emerging regulations, coordinates stakeholders, maintains reporting materials, identifies process improvements, and contributes to ESG data governance and internal controls aligned with requirements such as CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy, and California climate disclosures.

Manage technology risk and operational resilience for Mastercard’s international real-time payments services in APAC. Assess first-line controls, identify deficiencies, maintain risk documentation, coordinate audits, monitor metrics, brief management, and oversee third-party risk governance. Develop business continuity plans, conduct resilience testing, support incident response, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen risk awareness through training and communications. Collaborate with technology, business operations, risk, control owners, customers, vendors, and regulators.

Leads Mastercard’s global international tax strategy, U.S. tax compliance, tax risk management, controversy support, M&A tax structuring, and digital asset taxation. Advises executive and cross-functional stakeholders on OECD Pillar Two, transfer pricing, emerging payment technologies, and multinational tax regulations. Oversees external advisors, compliance governance, technology-enabled process improvements, and a high-performing international tax team.

Manage regulatory licensing, reporting, examination readiness, obligation inventories, control assessments, remediation tracking, and regulatory submissions for Mastercard’s payments and digital assets business. Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, Finance, and business teams across U.S. and international jurisdictions. Prepare regulator communications, board and management reporting, compliance metrics, risk assessments, and evidence supporting examinations and licensing obligations.

Supports product strategy, pricing initiatives, revenue planning, and lifecycle management through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Analyzes market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and large datasets to identify growth opportunities and optimize pricing. Prepares leadership recommendations and collaborates with Product, Finance, Account Management, Operations, Legal, and regional teams in a global payments environment.

Leads Mastercard’s strategic minority investment process, including business case development, cross-functional diligence, transaction negotiation, executive investment materials, and portfolio management. Evaluates prospective investments, tracks performance and milestones, supports valuation and monitoring of broader strategic investments, and reports to senior executives and the Board. Requires strong financial modeling, accounting, valuation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or strategic finance preferred.

Performs bank reconciliations across multiple legal entities, verifies transactions between Transfast Central, Oracle, and bank statements, posts daily bank transactions in Oracle, prepares income statement schedules, supports statutory audits, and completes ad hoc accounting activities. The role requires accurate execution of routine accounting tasks, familiarity with internal controls and finance systems, analytical ability, communication skills, and collaboration across teams and time zones.

Manages Mastercard’s debt capital markets activities, including debt issuance, credit facility renewals, commercial paper, share repurchases, banking relationships, interest expense forecasting, and debt portfolio reporting. Oversees SEC disclosures, payments, controls, audits, and process improvements while supporting corporate treasury projects and maintaining relationships with banks and internal stakeholders.

Supports treasury and bank administration processes, including bank account openings and closures for mergers and acquisitions. Updates, standardizes, and automates processes; guides regional teams; prepares reporting; supports SOX and audit activities; and coordinates with treasury, tax, legal, and banking partners.

Manages statutory reporting and external audit support for Mastercard entities worldwide. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling US GAAP with local frameworks and IFRS, supporting year-end accounting and SOX compliance, improving controls, resolving audit issues, coordinating with controllership and shared-services teams, and managing relationships with auditors, consultants, and external providers.
