Performs inventory and manufacturing accounting, financial analysis, month-end close, P&L reviews, audit support, SOX documentation, and inventory reserve calculations. Leads continuous improvement initiatives, cost-of-sales and trend analysis, corporate eliminations, and statutory reviews while partnering with manufacturing sites, auditors, tax teams, and global accounting stakeholders.

The Finance Summer Associate supports strategic and operational finance projects across Pfizer business units. Responsibilities may include budgeting and forecasting, pricing analysis, risk management, cash flow management, capital structure analysis, investment modeling, outsourcing evaluations, and assessing loss-of-exclusivity impacts. The role provides hands-on supervision, exposure to senior Finance leaders, and networking opportunities.

Supports Pfizer’s global inventory and cost accounting operations, including inventory valuation, standard costing, COGS, reconciliations, journal entries, financial close, reporting, SOX compliance, audits, and variance analysis. Collaborates with global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance stakeholders. Participates in process improvement, automation, ERP transformation, SAP S/4HANA initiatives, documentation, and reporting enhancements.

Participate in Pfizer Finance rotations and meaningful projects involving budgeting, forecasting, outsourcing evaluation, pricing analysis, risk management, capital structure, cash flow, investment models, co-promotion profit splits, and loss-of-exclusivity impacts. Work with senior Finance colleagues, receive hands-on supervision, and build relationships across business units while providing financial analysis and strategic support.

Supports global accounting and inventory activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, month-end close, reporting, audit support, and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation. Collaborates with international stakeholders, maintains accounting procedures, identifies process improvements, and leads select continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.

This role focuses on developing National Health Insurance pricing strategies, leading negotiations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance Pfizer's strategic pricing. Responsibilities include coaching team members and engaging in pro-innovation activities.

Lead design, development and implementation of global finance IT solutions (SAP/ERP). Manage moderately complex projects, drive process and technology improvements, ensure compliance and integration with external systems, partner with business stakeholders to deliver value and adoption, and oversee related budgets and resources.

Execute timely, compliant payroll activities for assigned processes including data collection, validation, reconciliations, payments to authorities, reporting, audit support, and employee inquiries. Collaborate with PX, Finance and vendors, maintain payroll records, follow regulations and serve as backup for team members.
