Paid 10-week Finance internship at Boeing focused on applying academic knowledge to financial analysis, modeling, cost estimating, data analytics, and problem solving. Interns will work full-time onsite, collaborate with aerospace business teams, engage with company leaders, and participate in mentorship, networking, and professional development activities. Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s or higher degree program, graduate in August 2027 or later, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

The Financial Analyst will support budgeting, financial operations, and cost analysis for proprietary programs, requiring strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise.

Performs statutory and financial accounting for Boeing Poland entities, including journal entries, GL reconciliations, period-end close, management reporting, variance analysis, tax declarations, statutory compliance, and audit support. Represents the company before Polish authorities and contributes to process improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives. Requires strong Polish and English communication, international accounting experience, and knowledge of Polish accounting, US GAAP, and IFRS.

Maintain the general ledger and ensure GAAP/CAS/FAR/DFAR compliance; lead month/quarter/year-end close; prepare journal entries and reconciliations; manage fixed assets and contract liabilities; support payroll stabilization, audits, DCAA incurred cost submissions, and process improvements; collaborate with cross-functional finance teams and present analysis to management.

Manage weekly ACH, wire, and check payments; review critical supplier payments; reconcile supply chain financing; maintain vendor data; perform journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting; support period-end close, SOX compliance, internal controls, and audits. Partner with finance teams and suppliers to resolve payment questions and improve accounting processes.

Manages cost accounts across Boeing training systems programs, maintaining financial and staffing data integrity in Adaptive Planning. Responsibilities include earned value management, estimates at complete, variance analysis, actuals for proposals, staffing projections, and coordination with engineering, program management, and other functions. The role supports multiple programs and platforms in a dynamic environment and requires implementing Department of Defense EVM processes.

Monitor and enforce U.S. Government financial compliance (FAR, CAS, GAAP/SOX); identify and remediate control weaknesses; support CAS remediation; develop compliance training and communications; liaise with DCAA/DCMA during audits; educate teams and drive continuous improvement.

Develops cost estimates and pricing for defense proposals, ensuring FAR/DFAR compliance and supporting certified cost and pricing data. Uses historical data, regression and parametric methods to produce BOEs, should-cost analyses, and supplier cost audits. Manages data collection from stakeholders, supports negotiations and Price-to-Win activities, and advises on supply chain negotiation strategies while providing leadership to pricing and cost analysts.

This role ensures compliance with US Government regulations, advises on labor policies, improves processes, and addresses audit findings.
