The Compliance Associate II supports assurance projects by evaluating internal controls, documenting findings, and developing recommendations in a financial services setting.

Partner with GMs and product teams to launch and scale credit and payments products, influence product strategy through financial analysis, and hire and develop a finance team while ensuring cross-functional governance.

Lead finance for Remitly Europe, owning financial control, safeguarding, capital compliance, statutory reporting, audit, and regulatory obligations. Act as strategic FP&A partner to regional business leaders, drive forecasting, unit economics, pricing strategy, and financial storytelling to the Executive Management Team and Board. Build and develop the REL finance team and coordinate with global finance functions to support European growth and regulatory licence activities.

Lead Remitly Brazil's compliance and AML/CFT programs as the BCB-designated statutory compliance officer. Liaise with Banco Central do Brasil and auditors, ensure KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, SAR filings via Siscoaf, consumer protection (Ouvidoria), regulatory licensing, and embed compliance-by-design with Product and Engineering. Report to Head of Compliance, Americas and provide board-level reporting.
