Conduct SOX and operational audits by evaluating control design, testing entity-level, business process, and IT general controls, identifying deficiencies, and recommending enhancements. Lead remediation across business units, assess materiality, communicate status to senior management, develop risk-based audit plans, and ensure compliance with internal audit and government standards. The role also covers DCAA/DCMA audits, government contractor business systems, financial reporting controls, cybersecurity requirements, and complex accounting matters.

Develops cost estimates and pricing proposals for bids, contracts, and modifications. Collects and analyzes technical and programmatic data, prepares performance reports, collaborates cross-functionally, and presents findings to stakeholders. The role uses advanced Excel for analysis and supports accurate, competitive, and compliant pricing while maintaining awareness of government contracting regulations and cost accounting standards.

Lead and support SAP accounting systems and reporting tools, design automated reporting, improve accounting processes, manage ERP projects and month-end support, ensure SOX-compliant GL controls, and collaborate with stakeholders across accounting and technical teams.

Manage and administer equity compensation programs (options, RSUs, performance shares, ESPP); process transactions and maintain cap tables; prepare Section 16 reports in Workiva; ensure ASC 718 and SOX compliance; manage vendors; conduct market research and collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Payroll to support grants and equity policy administration.

Manage cost and schedule control for contracts with validated cost/schedule control systems. Perform financial analyses, budget and schedule preparation, variance and funding analysis, maintain expenditure records, and update contractual changes into control systems to keep contracts within agreed parameters and government guidelines.
