Manage global payroll operations and transformation initiatives across multiple countries and entities. Lead payroll implementations, migrations, vendor onboarding, system improvements, controls, reconciliations, payroll-to-GL mapping, journal validation, funding, statutory payments, and month-end close support. Lead FP&A partnership with global commercial teams, own budgeting/forecasting, build GTM KPI/reporting, analyze profitability and unit economics, drive AI-enabled FP&A automation, and mentor junior staff to improve processes and decision-making.

Own end-to-end controllership for Airwallex Americas: monthly close, US GAAP compliance, audits, regulatory filings, group consolidation, accounting advisory for products, process automation, and cross-functional partnership across Tax, Treasury, Legal, Risk, and Operations.

Lead and embed Japan AML/FCC program: develop framework, manage FCC team, oversee EDD, screening and SARs, handle regulator and banking partner interactions, deliver monitoring/reporting, remediate audit findings, and advise commercial and operations teams.
