Recover charged-off funds by negotiating settlements, managing collection and legal accounts, conducting skip tracing, processing bankruptcy claims and payments, coordinating collection agencies, maintaining compliant records, reviewing vendor invoices, updating credit bureau data, preparing reports, and identifying process improvements. The role requires knowledge of collection laws, strong judgment, confidentiality, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Develop and enhance quantitative financial models supporting Treasury, asset liability management, interest-rate risk, mortgage hedging, pricing, profitability, and portfolio risk decisions. Analyze fixed income, derivatives, duration, convexity, stress scenarios, deposits, and prepayments. Automate workflows with Python and Excel/VBA, modernize analytics in Snowflake, document model governance, and communicate insights to Treasury, Risk, Credit, Product, and portfolio leaders.

Develops, calibrates, validates, and maintains credit risk models, including PD, LGD, and EAD models, for lending, collections, loss forecasting, capital planning, and stress testing. Analyzes large datasets, evaluates model performance, documents model changes, supports systems testing, and communicates statistical insights to stakeholders and management. Collaborates across the credit union to improve risk-return strategies and reporting.
