The role partners with Finance, business stakeholders, and offshore resources to resolve reporting issues, improve accounting processes, and support automation initiatives. Work may be remote within the U.S., with office attendance required for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. hires.

The Senior Financial Consultant supports Optum Health FP&A through forecasting, long-range financial modeling, earnings and close cycles. The role consolidates business forecasts, prepares executive presentations and financial data packs, improves ledger reporting capabilities, streamlines VBC and FFS reporting, and provides actionable financial insights to leadership. The consultant partners with finance, data management, revenue, medical, SG&A, and membership stakeholders while driving process improvements using AI and data management tools.
