Leads GitLab’s corporate development strategy, including market research, competitive analysis, investment theses, build-buy-partner decisions, and executive recommendations. Manages acquisitions end to end, including target evaluation, valuation, negotiations, cross-functional diligence, legal documentation, closing, and post-acquisition integration. Partners with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, executives, and external investors to guide inorganic growth and strategic partnerships.

Leads FP&A for GitLab’s R&D organization and serves as strategic finance partner to the CTO. Owns annual planning, rolling forecasts, headcount and cost planning, investment decisions, efficiency metrics, financial modeling, and process redesign. Evaluates AI, cloud, tooling, and build-versus-buy investments; partners with Accounting, Procurement, and People teams; drives AI-enabled finance transformation; and leads and develops the R&D finance team.

Owns GitLab’s enterprise pricing, packaging, monetization, and commercialization strategy. Develops pricing programs, enterprise agreements, bundling, channel and cloud marketplace structures, discounting frameworks, and competitive deal plays. Partners with Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, and partners to implement scalable commercial programs. Creates pricing enablement materials, makes data-backed recommendations, influences senior stakeholders, and documents decisions in an asynchronous, globally distributed environment.

Own preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-1); drive quarterly and annual reporting calendar; lead earnings release process; manage disclosure checklist and XBRL review; improve and automate reporting processes; prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, equity rollforwards, and EPS; ensure U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance; research technical accounting issues and implement new accounting pronouncements.
