Own preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-1); drive quarterly and annual reporting calendar; lead earnings release process; manage disclosure checklist and XBRL review; improve and automate reporting processes; prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, equity rollforwards, and EPS; ensure U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance; research technical accounting issues and implement new accounting pronouncements.

Lead Internal Audit automation and technology risk for the Bangalore hub: drive AI-assisted workflows, data analytics, and automation across audits; oversee SOX testing with a co-source provider; own technology audit topics end-to-end; build cross-functional relationships with engineering, security, and IT; hire, coach, and manage India-based auditors; and translate findings into practical business-impacting solutions.

Lead and execute technology audits across cloud, application, and cybersecurity domains to support SOX compliance. Design and test IT general, application, and entity-level controls; perform risk-based planning, testing, and reporting; drive remediation with process owners; and apply data analytics, automation, and generative AI to improve audit quality and efficiency.

Lead long-range bookings and ARR financial modeling, support pricing and packaging, build business cases for new products and partnerships, assess unit economics and market opportunity, and provide strategic finance recommendations to executives and the Board.

Lead and operationalize GitLab's Internal Audit function: plan and execute risk-based audits, oversee SOX testing, facilitate enterprise risk management, coach a distributed audit team, implement QA/improvement programs, and report to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

Lead company-wide revenue forecasting, planning, and financial modeling for corporate FP&A. Drive automation and AI-enabled process improvements, produce analysis and commentary for finance leadership, support CFO and board deliverables, and partner with accounting and compensation teams to maintain operating and long-term financial models.
