Supports global indirect tax compliance across U.S. and international jurisdictions, including sales and use tax, VAT, GST, registrations, audits, notices, refunds, and tax authority inquiries. Analyzes large datasets, prepares tax-return data, performs reconciliations, maintains tax systems and workflows, and partners with internal teams and external providers. The role also investigates issues, recommends solutions, improves controls, and automates recurring processes.

Supports month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and expense management. Prepares marketing accruals, supports audits and reviews, and partners across business teams. Contributes to finance transformation through system implementations, process documentation, automation, and AI-driven efficiency initiatives.

The Senior Financial Analyst supports forecasting, financial modeling, KPI analysis, operating expense planning, resource allocation, and capital investment decisions. They partner with R&D and G&A teams, improve finance infrastructure through an EPM system transition, evaluate risks and efficiencies, and prepare reporting for management, investors, and the Board. The role also supports month-end close and budget-versus-actual processes while providing strategic insights to leadership.

Own WHOOP’s monthly and quarterly close, general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement tie-outs. Lead and develop the operational accounting team, strengthen SOX-aligned internal controls, support audits, and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance. Drive process standardization, automation, and public company readiness while partnering with Finance and business stakeholders.
