Build accounting policies, GL operations, controls, regulatory reporting, finance systems, and close processes from the ground up. Own FSRA compliance and issuer-entity reporting, including IFRS financial statements and audits. Analyze complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS, validate ledger structures and reconciliations, and coordinate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, auditors, and regulators.

Conduct end-to-end customer, individual, and entity screenings for AML, sanctions, and KYC compliance. Analyze transaction activity, KYC data, sanctions lists, PEP databases, and adverse media; document findings, disposition alerts, and escalate potential risks. Participate in quality assurance calibration, support 24/7 shift operations, and recommend process improvements that strengthen screening accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Investigate and resolve escalated payments fraud involving chargebacks, ACH returns, wire disputes, and account takeovers. Analyze fraud patterns using SQL, make independent risk decisions for complex customer cases, and recommend improvements to detection rules and risk processes. Partner with Product, Data Science, Risk ML, and Engineering teams to strengthen fraud prevention, while supporting 24/7 in-office operations in Hyderabad through shifts and weekend work.

Manages the full lifecycle of global bank accounts, including openings, maintenance, and closures. Administers user access provisioning and de-provisioning for banking platforms, performs KYC reviews, gathers compliance documentation, and maintains audit trails. Partners with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to meet regulatory and internal policy requirements. Supports process documentation and workflow improvements for Treasury Operations.

Investigate potential market and trade practice violations, analyze surveillance alerts, escalate higher-risk matters, and prepare investigative reports, memoranda, and presentations. The role applies CFTC regulations and exchange rules to derivatives trading scenarios, manages concurrent investigations and deadlines, identifies market-risk trends, and recommends surveillance process improvements. It also supports regulatory reporting and communications with Coinbase Derivatives leadership, the board, and oversight committees while using generative AI responsibly under human oversight.

Manage Coinbase Singapore’s MAS capital markets licensing and regulatory compliance program. Responsibilities include coordinating CMS license submissions, maintaining Singapore-specific policies and controls, strengthening AML/CFT and sanctions frameworks, preparing governance and regulatory materials, tracking remediation actions, supporting inspections, and delivering compliance training. The role requires extensive MAS/SFA expertise, strong program management, senior stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, and Operations.

Own monthly close, reconciliations, financial statements, and regulatory reporting for Coinbase’s FCM and Broker-Dealer entities. Monitor capital and liquidity requirements, coordinate audits, strengthen accounting and compliance controls, support product launches, and automate scalable accounting processes. The role partners with Accounting, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams while meeting regulatory deadlines and maintaining accurate, business-ready outputs through responsible use of generative AI.

Lead financial crimes compliance audits from planning through reporting and remediation validation. Responsibilities include audit scoping, stakeholder management, fieldwork, data analysis, process mapping, control assessments, audit reporting, and mentoring junior team members. The role requires regulatory knowledge across US, EU, and APAC AML, sanctions, and terrorist financing frameworks, plus independent audit leadership and responsible use of generative AI.

Lead Finance support for product launches by coordinating across accounting, tax, treasury, risk, and operations. Oversee launch reviews, perform accounting treatment assessments, design and implement controls, produce audit-ready documentation and executive reporting, and partner with Finance Engineering to automate reporting and processes. Serve as trusted advisor to business partners and manage cross-functional workstreams to ensure compliance and operational readiness.

Run the UK entity (CBPL) risk framework and contribute to global operational risk programs. Lead RCSAs, incident management, KRIs/KCIs, outsourcing and resilience work; provide 2LoD challenge to products and change, build risk MI for senior forums, coach first-line leaders, and help design global ORM programs and dashboards.
