Serve as a licensed mortgage loan originator guiding clients from application to closing. Build referral relationships, evaluate financial documents, recommend loan products, generate leads, maintain a book of business, represent the brand in community functions, and stay current on product and guideline changes.

Build and maintain referral relationships and a book of business to originate mortgage loans. Consult with clients, analyze financials and documentation, recommend appropriate loan products, guide clients from application through closing, and represent the company at community events. Maintain up-to-date product and qualification knowledge and deliver high-quality client service to drive referral volume and revenue.

Manage portfolios of non-performing residential and commercial loans to minimize losses and ensure compliance. Execute loss mitigation and workout strategies, oversee foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and liquidation processes, coordinate with attorneys and vendors, perform due diligence and financial analysis, prepare portfolio reports, and recommend resolution strategies aligned with investor and regulatory requirements.

Execute and optimize whole-loan mortgage trading strategies, manage loan pipelines, build buyer/investor relationships, prepare P&L reports, identify market opportunities, support product launches, communicate market trends, and mentor junior team members.

Lead financial analysis and reporting for Originations, build and maintain models and Adaptive Planning reports, support forecasting and AOP cycles, partner with Data/BI to improve datasets and automation, deliver monthly reviews and ad-hoc analyses, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and actionable financial insights for senior leadership.

Lead and optimize the IT SOX program, perform IT process and control reviews, oversee SOX testing (ITGCs/ITACs/IPEs), liaise with external auditors, manage remediation, and build a high-performing team while advising executive leadership on control improvements.

Prepare and analyze Federal, State, and Local tax workpapers; support tax return preparation and payments; research tax questions and notices; assist with audits; maintain tax calendar and corporate organizational charts while coordinating with accounting and legal entities.

Provide strategic and operational leadership for finance, procurement, HR, facilities and administrative support at a nonprofit research institute. Oversee budgeting, financial controls, compliance, staffing and administrative processes; build and lead high-performing administrative teams; partner with senior leadership to remove operational hurdles and enable research activities.

Serve as a strategic FP&A partner to VP/C-level leaders across R&D and G&A. Build and maintain financial models, drive budgeting/forecasting and long-range planning, evaluate investments and resource allocation, define KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver dashboards and actionable insights that influence organizational decisions.
