Lead AML/BSA, KYC/KYB, fraud, transaction monitoring, and sanctions compliance programs. Manage banking and financial institution relationships, oversee investigations and UAR/SAR processes, translate regulations into operational controls, coordinate audits and examinations, track regulatory developments, and deliver compliance training. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Operations to support responsible product growth and regulatory readiness.

Support collections and billing to improve cash flow: monitor overdue accounts, follow up with customers, prepare and distribute complex invoices using billing platforms, maintain AR records in NetSuite/Salesforce, assist with billing portal registrations and compliance, and collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, and brokers to resolve payment issues.

The Accounting Lead will manage core accounting operations, automate processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and support financial integrity as the company scales.

Ensure accounting integrity for multifamily housing products involving resident ledgers and accounting workflows. Advise on rent, concessions, deposits, subsidies, delinquencies, utilities, move-ins, move-outs, and month-end close. Translate accounting workflows into product requirements and acceptance tests, validate calculations and terminology, lead UAT with client accountants, reconcile outputs, and establish accounting standards and playbooks.

Conduct first-pass compliance reviews of affordable housing resident files across LIHTC, HUD Section 8, and USDA programs. Apply established rules to income, assets, deductions, certifications, and recertifications; verify automated outputs; document findings; escalate ambiguous cases; support testing and UAT; and meet accuracy, volume, and SLA targets.

Ensure accounting integrity for multifamily customer-facing features: advise on rent/charges/close treatments, translate real-world accounting into requirements and tests, validate calculations and language, lead UAT with client accountants, define standards and terminology, and capture best practices into playbooks.

Support end-to-end accounts payable operations including invoice intake, coding, vendor setup and reconciliations, payment runs (ACH/wire/check), credit card transaction coding, month-end AP accruals and multi-entity/multi-currency processing.
