Top Linux Jobs in San Diego, CA

Design and implement core platform systems including developer APIs, embedded UI components, load forecasting, and behind-the-meter control. Architect foundations, deliver end-to-end solutions, act as a technical leader, work across the stack, and collaborate closely with founders and the engineering team in an early-stage startup environment.

Design and develop FPGA, PLD, ASIC, and complex digital/analog interface electronics for aerospace engine control systems. Create requirements, block diagrams, simulations, and documentation; perform testing, verification, and certification support; collaborate with cross-functional teams and support product transition to production.

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs; implement authentication and secure session flows; develop real-time data pipelines and media handling; architect and migrate database schemas (Postgres to DynamoDB); collaborate with mobile/frontend teams to deliver low-latency consumer experiences; participate in full SDLC in a fast-moving startup environment.

Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and serverless/cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. Collaborate with developers, scientists, and admins to deploy, test, secure, and support mission-critical applications, perform code reviews, and implement infrastructure-as-code and security hardening.

Develop, extend, and maintain a proprietary CRM and internal applications using C#, ASP.NET Core (MVC and WPF). Write and optimize SQL and EF Core integrations, build reports, produce maintainable tested code, diagnose production issues, and translate business requirements into technical solutions while participating in code reviews and stakeholder communication.

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain moderately complex to complex software applications. Create high-quality code, run tests and troubleshoot, document technical and installation procedures, collaborate with architects and analysts, support application maintenance, and propose continuous improvement solutions.

Lead electrical engineering design for LNG, carbon capture, refining, and petrochemical projects. Produce power system studies, one-line diagrams, wiring, grounding, and equipment specifications; review vendors; coordinate multidisciplinary teams; mentor engineers and manage schedules, budgets, and standards compliance across PDP, FEED, and detailed design phases.

Lead development and delivery of electrical engineering design for industrial projects (LNG, carbon capture, refining, petrochemical). Perform power system studies, prepare one-line diagrams, wiring, lighting, grounding and equipment specifications, review vendor documents, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements across PDP, FEED, and detailed design phases.

Design, build, and maintain custom CRM applications using C#, ASP.NET Core (WPF and MVC). Write and optimize SQL and Entity Framework Core integrations, create reports, diagnose production issues, write maintainable tested code, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines for web, mobile, and APIs. Implement AI-driven test generation and self-healing automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, measure test metrics, triage issues, and collaborate with engineers and product to improve quality.
