Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Scala/Java server-side applications and RESTful APIs. Work on distributed systems, ensure data integrity and security, write unit tests, optimize performance, participate in design reviews, and mentor junior engineers while supporting CMS mission requirements.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems using Scala, Java, and the Akka ecosystem; build RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions on AWS; design data access with Slick/SQL; maintain CI/CD pipelines; participate in architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.

Design and develop customer-facing capabilities while supporting product delivery, managing project communication, and incorporating user feedback into development.
