The Continuous Improvement Engineer enhances operational excellence through lean transformation, data analysis, and automation, promoting efficiency in manufacturing.

Lead and execute application development and integrations while establishing and driving a practical SDLC across teams. Develop, review, and harden applications (including AI-assisted builds), perform code reviews, ensure security and deployment readiness in Azure, coordinate testing and releases, create SDLC templates and documentation, and shepherd initiatives through design, development, approval, deployment, and support.

Provide on-site product engineering support at the Mesa factory: troubleshoot production issues, own ECR/ECN process, update drawings/EBOMs, coordinate with Montreal engineering, implement corrective actions, and report on operations to maintain product quality and minimize escalations.

Deliver projects on time and within budget while partnering with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management. Design, build, and operate reliable infrastructure services on AWS and Kubernetes. Own subsystems, automate tooling to reduce toil, apply modern tooling and GenAI where appropriate, improve developer experience, and drive infrastructure reliability, observability, and efficiency across the organization.

Support engineering team with design, analysis, modeling, and documentation of structural building components (trusses, wall panels, roof systems). Assist with truss drawing coordination, code research, RFIs, and prepare reports while learning industry standards. Participate in site visits and collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders under close supervision.

Prepare truss layouts and shop drawings from architectural and structural plans, ensure compliance with codes and customer requirements, optimize designs for efficiency and profitability, assist bidding/estimating, mentor junior designers, meet with customers, and update internal procedures and documentation as needed.

Perform routine, less-complex mechanical and piping design and drafting under direct supervision. Assist with piping drawings, P&IDs, general arrangements, and field design work to verify conditions and support construction. Follow company CAD and design standards and communicate with project teams and clients.

Design and develop consumer-focused, manufacturable AV furniture, mounts and accessories. Create 3D models, drawings, BOMs and ECOs; lead/participate on cross-functional teams; support testing, product documentation, training, customer technical support, and trade show representation.

Design, configure, and deploy client IT environments (workstations, servers, networking, VMs, cloud). Automate builds with scripting and configuration management, test and secure deployments, document configurations, support handovers, and collaborate with project and client teams to optimize processes.

Design, build, and optimize scalable, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure and multi-tenant data ingestion/vectorization pipelines for AI agents. Implement observability, performance tuning to achieve millisecond latencies, ensure tenant isolation, and manage resource allocation for SaaS AI products.
