Defines system architectures, coordinates board and system design, power, signal integrity, mechanical and thermal engineering, validation, and compliance. Oversees internal and JDM/ODM development, executive reporting, product strategy, budgets, hiring, and team development while partnering with Software, Product, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Design, simulate, validate, debug, and optimize high‑speed electrical and optical links and memory interfaces. Create simulation models, correlate to lab measurements, define PCB signal integrity rules and stackups, execute hands‑on testing to root cause issues, and produce test plans and documentation.

Administer and maintain Slingshot hardware and development systems for HPC networking ASIC validation. Install and update hardware and software, build compute node images, operate and administer compute clusters, monitor and improve system-status reporting, debug prototype failures, and collaborate with ASIC, hardware, and software teams. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff.

Provide test engineering services for flight hardware supporting human spaceflight projects. Develop test plans, fixtures, and procedures; execute functional, integration, and certification tests; collect and analyze data; write test reports; operate and process hardware at KBR and JSC test facilities; coordinate with project teams, safety, and NASA stakeholders.

Lead standardization strategy for optical transport and Ethernet technologies, develop and advocate contributions to standards bodies (ITU‑T, IEEE, OIF, OpenROADM), coordinate with PLMs and R&D, report progress internally, provide technical influence and guidance, and represent Nokia at standards meetings and industry events.

Debug and resolve complex hardware/software issues for manufacturing test stations. Lead commissioning and release-to-manufacturing of opto-electrical test stations, improve test uptime, provide documentation and support to contract manufacturers and vendors, coordinate equipment RFQs/RMAs, and use AI tools for data analysis.

Design, build, and operate reliable backend systems while mentoring engineers, participating in design discussions, and improving system performance.
