Design, build, operate, and scale Sezzle’s AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure. The role focuses on performance, reliability, disaster recovery, observability, database optimization, infrastructure-as-code, incident response, cloud cost efficiency, and AI-assisted operational tooling. The engineer will lead complex architecture initiatives, improve production resilience, participate in on-call rotation, and collaborate across engineering, security, compliance, and application teams.

Lead design and implementation of a production-grade LLM inference platform: deploy and serve models on GPU infrastructure, optimize latency and cost with quantization/batching/caching/routing, build infrastructure in Python or Golang, operate serving frameworks (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM), and own the inference roadmap working with CTO and Product.

Design, build, and operate distributed backend systems in Rust; develop scalable ingestion pipelines, optimize columnar storage on object storage at petabyte scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Lead end-to-end annotation projects: define workflows, coordinate teams (annotators, reviewers, experts), track progress and quality via dashboards, manage launches and phase transitions, pilot tooling and methodology improvements, and build scalable operational systems and documentation to support annotator community and cross-functional alignment.

Build and evolve Rerun’s open-source viewer, cross-language SDKs, and integrations with Rerun Hub. Develop high-performance interfaces for large-scale multimodal data, optimize workflows across desktop and web, make full-stack architecture decisions, and collaborate with backend, Hub, design, customers, and the open-source community. The role involves UI development, rendering, data handling, infrastructure, real-time applications, visualization, and performance optimization.

Own strategy and execution for Toloka’s B2B products, including product roadmaps, lifecycle management, acquisition-to-payment funnels, metrics, and optimization. Lead cross-functional engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and operations teams to build and launch products, incorporate customer feedback, and drive measurable user and revenue outcomes across enterprise AI ecosystems.

Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse architecture, analyze and visualize data with SQL/Python/R and BI tools, build machine learning models and A/B tests, and partner with engineering and business teams to deliver data-driven insights for fintech use cases (fraud detection, segmentation, forecasting).

Lead a product area end-to-end: define roadmap, run discovery, set OKRs, prioritise from customer insights, manage dependencies, partner with engineering and design, and build a 12–18 month AI-first product vision to deliver measurable outcomes.

Provides high-level support to the General Manager while coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, communications, stakeholders, onboarding, suppliers, office services, employee initiatives, and compliance administration. The role also supports executive materials, health and safety processes, events, and improvements to administrative workflows and employee experience.
