The Sales Development Representative qualifies leads for APM software sales, profiles accounts, and drives prospecting efforts, working closely with marketing and field sales.

Identify and qualify sales opportunities for APM software by researching accounts, outbound prospecting, and contacting senior IT leaders at Fortune 1000 companies. Use CRM (Salesforce) to track activities, run telemarketing and database programs, educate prospects on Dynatrace solutions, meet metrics, and collaborate with field sales and marketing.

Drive land-and-expand sales across enterprise accounts: manage 7–10 customers and 5–8 prospects (18 accounts total), execute territory plans, win new logos, expand usage, build C-level relationships, run demos/events, collaborate with SE, marketing, legal and finance, and ensure successful implementations while pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Manage end-to-end proposal responses (RFPs, RFIs, security/vendor questionnaires), coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, lead Go/No-Go and strategy meetings, maintain proposal content library, and improve proposal processes to deliver high-quality, timely responses.

Serve as a technical and business evangelist for telemetry pipelines and observability. Guide customers on OpenTelemetry, routing, and cost optimization; lead POCs, enablement, competitive displacement, ROI cases, and cross-functional collaboration to drive platform adoption and revenue.

Serve as a domain expert in log management, guiding customers in adopting Dynatrace solutions, conducting POCs, and optimizing log ingestion strategies.

The role involves managing growth and adoption of the Dynatrace platform in assigned federal accounts, creating strategic account plans, developing long-term relationships, and driving sales strategies while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Recruit, develop and manage channel partners to generate software license and services revenue. Build joint go-to-market strategies, drive partner-sourced pipeline, run business reviews, track forecasts and KPIs, and collaborate with regional sales teams. Travel 25-50% to onboard partners and ensure successful execution of partner initiatives.

As a Solutions Engineer at Dynatrace, you will provide technical support for sales teams, manage POCs, and communicate value to customers, requiring strong technical knowledge and experience in observability.

Own 2-3 named enterprise accounts and 2-3 prospects in the NYC Metro area; develop account plans, engage C-suite executives, leverage Dynatrace, hyperscalers, and sales engineering to close and expand enterprise deals using MEDDPIC, drive adoption, and ensure successful implementations.
