Partner with product engineering to design and analyze experiments, apply causal reasoning and statistical modeling to marketplace data, and drive data-informed product decisions across the engineering org.

Develop and evaluate Python-based machine learning models using time-series telemetry and operational data. Responsibilities include data exploration, feature engineering, NLP, probabilistic and physics-informed modeling, anomaly detection, forecasting, validation, documentation, and production deployment. Collaborate with engineering, visualization, and program teams to integrate models into dashboards and decision-support tools. The role supports DoD customers and requires U.S. citizenship plus eligibility for a security clearance.

Supports data processing, statistical and machine learning model updates, marketing analyses, reporting, and data automation. Uses R or Python, SQL, BigQuery, BI tools, and spreadsheets to prepare datasets, maintain media-mix models, analyze results, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborates with Engineering, Reporting, Product, Paid Media, and Data Science teams while developing advanced analytical skills.

Assist senior data scientists with data collection, preprocessing, cleaning, and basic statistical analysis. Support model development, perform basic visualizations, and document processes and findings while learning and applying data science techniques.

Contract data scientist to remotely gather, extract, and analyze technical information about AI models, benchmarks, data centers, and companies. Tasks include reading ML papers, tracking leaderboards, processing satellite images/permits, compiling infrastructure details, and producing data insights for research and policy. Part-time (10–30 hrs/week), flexible schedule with occasional Pacific Time meetings.
