Define the hardware platform strategy and roadmap for an AI-native smartphone. Evaluate mobile SoCs, NPUs, components, power, thermal performance, connectivity, and memory capabilities. Translate product and AI requirements into hardware specifications, assess vendor and ODM proposals, establish validation criteria, and determine whether commercial platforms or custom hardware are needed for current and future on-device AI workloads.

Design compact connected hardware from concept through prototyping and validation for IoT devices. Optimize for connectivity, energy efficiency, durability, usability, and manufacturability. Collaborate with software and engineering teams, participate in design reviews, and apply current hardware design trends and tools.

Designs and maintains high-speed digital hardware for Nokia Service Router products. Responsibilities include ultra-high-speed PCB circuit design, simulation, verification testing, board bring-up, laboratory debugging, and taking complex board designs from concept through production release. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams, ownership of hardware integrity, and practical use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital debugging tools.
