Women-first dating and social networking app Bumble and global esports firm Gen.G announced a partnership this week to launch Gen.G’s first ever all-women esports team, Gen.G Empowered by Bumble (Team Bumble).

As part of their shared goal to drive empowerment in the gaming community, Bumble and Gen.G will also develop inclusive gaming platforms. Bumble has also added a “gaming” badge for Bumble BFF users to sport on their profiles to make it easier to connect with gamers in their communities.

Bumble will now become an official partner for Kristen Valnicek (@KittyPlays), Gen.G's Head of New Gaming Initiatives, as well as partner to #TeamKitty, KittyPlays’ network of women gamers and streamers. Gen.G and Bumble will work together on custom content and activations building upon the momentum of this growing community.

"I'm honored to partner with Bumble to make a lasting impact in gaming! Bumble is a visionary company in technology, media, women's empowerment, and facilitating human connection, which perfectly aligns with my own vision of inspiring positivity and empowering my audience."
