The Engineer/Scientist V at Forward Slope will be responsible for conducting technology analysis and assessment related to C4ISR Systems, defining system designs, developing system specifications, and integrating C4ISR systems into existing infrastructure. They will provide expert-level support for logistics activities, serve as a subject matter expert in C4ISR technologies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and adhere to quality assurance processes.

Maintain system patches and operating systems in accordance with STIG compliance, scan systems for vulnerabilities, administer and troubleshoot workstations and IT servers, provide guidance on complex problems, support production applications, perform server administration tasks, maintain cloud hosted instances, and provide new patches and upgrades.

Design and implement innovative technologies for automating, integrating, and delivering containerized web applications and services for the Department of Defense (DoD). Work with subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software systems for US Navy warfighters.

Maintain the Remedy Configuration Management Database for all hardware, software items, and documentation. Provide configuration management and sustainment support for multiple Remedy instantiations in a virtualized environment. Sustain the Remedy tool with bug fixes, updates, process flows, backups, and knowledge of Change Management application.
