Operate, monitor, deploy and troubleshoot backend services and customer-facing platforms for Tax-Free solutions in APAC. Resolve incidents within SLA, set up monitoring/alerting, perform releases, drive root-cause problem management, produce runbooks/checklists, collaborate with product/engineering and provide on-call support to improve service reliability.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a merchant portfolio, improving services, achieving sales targets, and training merchants on product offerings.

Implements and improves client-facing technology solutions across kiosk platforms, endpoints, networks, and automation. Manages Windows devices through Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including provisioning, patching, security, compliance, and decommissioning. Supports application releases, incident and problem management, and automation using PowerShell and APIs. Acts as a subject matter expert, escalates complex issues, mentors L1 engineers, and improves service delivery in a global IT environment.

Support global account sales by maintaining CRM and BI data, ensuring database quality, producing monthly reports and insights, managing Gain & Loss projects, updating data cubes, and collaborating with Global Account Managers and cross-functional teams to improve commercial processes and reporting.

Manage and grow Global Blue's Japanese department store accounts: drive revenue, retain and acquire large merchants, monitor KPIs, deliver contractual obligations, train merchants, coordinate commercial activities, and use Salesforce for account reporting.

The Sales Manager will manage Key Accounts in Japan, drive account strategies, achieve retention, oversee a team, and ensure CRM usage. Requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as fluency in Japanese and English.

Acquire and manage tax-free merchant accounts (especially drugstores and specialty retailers); negotiate and close contracts; lead merchant onboarding with IT and support teams; supervise junior account manager post-launch; track and report account activities in Salesforce to boost merchant satisfaction and sales.

This role involves supporting sales through administrative tasks, CRM management, maintaining customer relationships, and addressing queries. It also requires outbound calling to clients and providing professional customer service.
