The Knowledge Manager will be part of the Office of the CEO at RunPod. This team is responsible for gathering, synthesizing, distilling, and disseminating the organization's strategic direction while amplifying efforts through a cohesive culture. Led by the Head of Staff, the Office of the CEO plays a critical role in aligning the entire organization toward common goals.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Knowledge Manager to join our Office of the CEO. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the information developed by the team is discoverable and accessible across the organization. You will develop and implement knowledge management strategies, define tactical plans, and execute them. Your expertise will shape how RunPod captures, organizes, and shares knowledge, directly influencing our operational efficiency and strategic execution.
As the Knowledge Manager, you will be a force multiplier, ensuring that everyone within RunPod has timely access to essential information. Your work will enable informed decision-making, foster collaboration, and support a culture of continuous learning. By maintaining a robust and user-friendly knowledge base, you will enhance operational efficiency and ensure that institutional knowledge is readily available, directly contributing to RunPod's strategic objectives and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Strategy
- Define the knowledge management strategy for our knowledge base.
- Establish best practices and guidelines for knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Align knowledge management initiatives with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Information Architecture
- Design and optimize the information architecture for intuitive navigation and accessibility.
- Ensure the knowledge base meets the needs of audiences with varying skill levels.
- Content Governance
- Oversee the creation, editing, and maintenance of knowledge base content.
- Maintain high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable information.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and relevance of all documentation.
- Collaboration and Culture Building
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Provide training and support to employees on using and contributing to the knowledge base.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to enhance information flow.
- Metrics and Continuous Improvement
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of the knowledge management system.
- Monitor usage, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement enhancements to improve accessibility, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
Requirement:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in knowledge management, information architecture, or a related role.
- Proven experience developing and implementing knowledge management strategies.
- Strong understanding of knowledge management principles, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Experience administering knowledge base platforms and collaboration tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Information Management, Knowledge Management, Library and Information Science, or a related field.
- Experience in a fast-growing tech company or startup environment.
- Certification in knowledge management or related disciplines.
- Experience with change management and driving organizational culture shifts.
What You’ll Receive:
- The competitive base salary for this position ranges from $120,000- 150,000. The final salary will be determined during the interview process, based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
