Seeking Spatial Ecologist(s) with data analysis experience to join NOAA's National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS), Marine Spatial Ecology Division. Responsibilities include providing statistical, computational, and analytical support for projects that use predictive models in conjunction with large ecological survey, habitat, and environmental databases.
The Oceanographer will work on an interdisciplinary research team to support marine ecosystem management, conservation, restoration, and spatial planning. They will integrate regional ocean and earth system predictions into ecological and oceanographic studies and contribute to the development of prediction frameworks. Data management and stewardship of oceanographic data is a key responsibility for this role.
