The Data Engineer Consultant will design and implement scalable data solutions, advise clients on optimizing data environments, and develop ETL pipelines and data models to support business objectives.

Lead a high-impact analytics function partnering with clinical and business leaders to apply advanced analytics, modeling, and BI to improve participant outcomes, operations, and financial performance. Manage and mentor analysts, design analyses and models, build stakeholder relationships, and communicate actionable insights to influence enterprise strategy.

Perform data collection, cleaning, validation, and analysis on large client datasets using Python, SQL, and spreadsheets. Produce actionable insights and business narratives, automate data workflows, and support text/document annotation to generate labeled data for NLP and LLM solutions. Collaborate with senior analysts and improve internal analytical processes and tool configurations.

Lead design and delivery of Workday reporting and analytics for AMS clients: build advanced/matrix/trending/composite reports, dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and complex calculated fields; gather requirements, optimize reports, mentor junior consultants, and provide Workday best-practice guidance.

This role involves leading data infrastructure modernization efforts, architecture reviews, and migration planning while providing technical mentorship and establishing operational standards.

Perform part-time quality audits and evaluations of task outputs, define and refine quality benchmarks and scoring rubrics, analyze audit results to produce actionable insights and reports, and recommend process improvements to raise output quality.

Facilitate one-time transfers of customer data into Encompass Cloud Platform. Plan migrations with stakeholders, extract and transform legacy data using ETL/ELT methods, import and validate data, resolve issues, and execute migration activities on schedule to support customer onboarding and go-live.

Restructure and maintain Airtable relational architecture for fertility industry data, implement automations and integrations (Zapier, Softr), enforce data governance and permissions, build dashboards and reports, execute data acquisition and enrichment to scale the database, conduct audits, document SOPs, and support onboarding and system monitoring.
