Own design from concept through production and sustainment, create 3D CAD and ICDs, perform structural/thermal analysis, lead qualification and installation activities, liaise with customers and suppliers, and resolve field integration issues.

Serve as mechanical authority for integrating ruggedized electronics, effectors, and mission hardware into ground- and sea-mobile platforms. Own end-to-end mechanical design, CAD models, analyses, prototyping, qualification testing, production transition, and sustainment while leading cross-disciplinary integration and interfacing with customers and suppliers.

Lead mechanical authority for ruggedized military electronics and effectors integrated into ground and sea mobile platforms. Own end-to-end design, CAD models, structural/thermal analyses, prototyping, qualification testing, production transition, and sustainment while coordinating cross-disciplinary integration and supplier/manufacturer interfaces.

The Hardware Engineer will develop and validate thermal solutions, perform stress analyses, create CAD models, and conduct prototyping and testing for a laser weapon system.
