What you'll do:
Quality Assurance Execution & Test Planning
- Execute and develop rigorous manual testing strategies across new features, enhancements, and regression cycles with extreme attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain test plans for new feature releases, ensuring clear coverage, traceability, and readiness ahead of launch.
- Support ad hoc testing requests from Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams as priorities shift.
- Validate fixes for high-priority bugs and confirm resolution prior to release.
- Partner with external QA vendors (manual and automation) to enable them on Narmi’s products, testing expectations, and workflows.
- Review vendor-executed test results for completeness, accuracy, and signal quality.
- Act as a point of coordination to ensure vendor testing aligns with internal standards and release timelines.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) stakeholders throughout the development and release cycle.
- Serve as a dependable voice of quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Communicate testing status, risks, and findings clearly and proactively to stakeholders.
- Follow established Product QA processes, tooling, and documentation standards.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement and propose changes with clear reasoning and documentation.
- Help ensure QA practices scale effectively as product complexity and release volume increase.
- Experience in manual QA testing within a SaaS or product-led environment.
- Familiarity with test planning, defect tracking, and release validation.
- Working knowledge of QA best practices and protocols, including both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Comfort collaborating across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking up when something doesn’t look right.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in high-quality execution.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and continuously grow QA expertise.
