Job Description:
- Lead planning and financial control activities for the IT function
- Produce monthly IT financial packs, including actuals vs. budget/forecast, variance drivers, trend analysis, and risk and opportunity commentary for management decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights for middle and senior management.
- Supporting investment cases, vendor evaluations, and ad hoc financial analysis through scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and cost-benefit assessment.
- Financial controls, month-end close coordination, accruals, and governance processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Work closely with IT leadership, finance controllers, accounting teams, and budget owners, providing effective challenge and constructive support on spend management and prioritization.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT finance, FP&A, management reporting, or business finance partnering, with solid exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end annual budget planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reviews for an IT or technology-related function.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA) preferred, or equivalent finance experience in a complex corporate environment.
- Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills, high attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to data quality, templates, and reporting timelines. Power BI skills would be preferred.
- Experience in multinational, matrixed, or regional organizations is preferred; exposure to IT cost allocation, project financial tracking, and governance frameworks would be an advantage.
