Lead technical design and hands-on development of Pantheon’s data platform, extending ingestion, curation, retention services and ML/LLM infrastructure. Mentor engineers, drive architecture and engineering standards, operate in a DevOps model, partner cross-functionally, and participate in on-call support to ensure reliable, compliant data access and analytics.

Develops self-service BI tools, data sources, data marts, and interactive visualizations using Tableau or Power BI. Partners with clinical and operational leaders to translate information needs into actionable insights. Combines data from warehouses, lakes, and external sources; supports ETL, validation, data governance, platform maintenance, security access, and compliance. Trains and mentors analytics team members while ensuring BI assets are accurate, trusted, secure, and effectively maintained.

Own and evolve UJET’s data platform, including MySQL CDC replication to BigQuery, dbt transformations, Terraform infrastructure, pipelines, data quality, observability, and Looker models. Build reliable, analytics-ready datasets and trusted metrics for internal and customer-facing reporting. Partner with Analytics, Finance, Product, and Engineering to deliver scalable data solutions, improve platform reliability, optimize performance and costs, and establish development standards and guardrails.

Leads business intelligence initiatives by solving complex business problems with internal and external data. Builds and optimizes Python/PySpark data pipelines, develops advanced SQL integrations, manages Databricks workflows, enforces data quality and validation, and delivers insights through Power BI. Partners with cross-functional teams and communicates findings and requirements to senior and executive leadership.

Develops business intelligence solutions using internal and external data to solve complex business problems and inform decision-making. Designs data models, taxonomies, schemas, and governance rules; builds analytics applications with Databricks, Python/PySpark, Power BI, Power Apps, and front-end technologies. Performs semantic modeling, DAX development, performance tuning, and potentially full-stack development. The fully remote role operates during Central or Eastern Time business hours and may require occasional travel.

Administers Informix, MySQL, and other databases across cloud and hybrid environments. Lead the design, implementation, and operation of production data pipelines and platform capabilities. Build integrations across APIs, files, CDC, events, cloud services, and internal systems. Improve Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow or Cloud Composer workloads for reliability, scalability, performance, and cost. Establish data modeling, testing, quality, observability, recovery, and orchestration standards. Provide architectural leadership, mentor engineers, document practices, and clarify technical and business trade-offs across teams.

Analyze product, program, member, client, and operational data using advanced SQL in Databricks. Define KPIs and measurement frameworks, conduct segmentation and root-cause analysis, validate datasets, develop reporting, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Client Success, and business leaders to improve performance and support strategic decisions.

Analyze Medicare Advantage and ACA risk adjustment data, CMS datasets, claims, encounters, eligibility, pharmacy, and medical record data. Develop SQL queries, reports, scorecards, dashboards, forecasts, and recommendations to improve risk adjustment performance, data quality, operational efficiency, and revenue. Partner with clients, executives, operations, technology, and analytics teams on solution development, process improvement, and strategic initiatives.

Provides hands-on technical leadership for foundational data engineering and analytics engineering. Owns multi-year data architecture, production pipelines, dimensional models, and trusted metrics spanning cloud costs, traffic, infrastructure, and AI usage. Designs new datasets integrating cost, utilization, performance, and reliability signals; establishes standards, coaches engineers, aligns stakeholders, and drives adoption across Infrastructure, Finance, Data Science, and Product Engineering.

Design and implement scalable analytics/data models and dbt pipelines, manage Databricks, build dashboards and BI solutions, partner with business stakeholders, support CRM/marketing analytics, and explore GenAI/ML opportunities to deliver reliable, automated data products.
