Role Value Proposition :
The primary responsibility of this position is to review/analyze history files and create solution via macros, VBA, power query etc., also basis requirement using Power Platforms on projects. The Implementation leader, Disability Consultant or Project lead sends history files of different Vendors to validate and Run files which has detailed provisions of the leave policies, set-up and test the back-end systems. This position relies heavily on analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a detailed knowledge of Macros, FMLA regulations, to drive the successful implementation of our Absence Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for the creation of Macros, use VBA, power query when required and set up file to be feed in catalyst system for history file cases.
Subject matter expert with internal and external customers on FML, State FML and leave policies, as well as eligibility requirements.
Partnering with account teams, Disability Operational Process Leads, and Customer Delivery for changes to existing TAM/Catalyst customers. Analyze impact of change to current set-up, develop solution and implement.
Attend conference calls related to Absence set-up issues/topics and provide consultation relative to resolution and next steps.
Support internal/external projects for the building of business requirements, design input and UAT.
Identify, solution and implement process and system improvements through continuous business and procedural analysis
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Technical Skills:
Good communication skills - both written and oral with the ability to explain complex subject matter to both technical and non-technical audiences so that issues are understood quickly and stakeholders are suitably engaged.
Ability to comprehend requirements and conceptualize data analysis and visualization
Strong data analysis and superior problem-solving skills
Strong PC Application Skills (MS Outlook and Advanced Excel)
Strong VBA and macro development skills and Power Platforms
Proficient in Data & Business Analysis and Project Management
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels, including understanding, documenting complex ideas and requirements into actionable steps.
Experience (in years):
4 - 6 years relevant workplace experience of Insurance/ Disability products in Business Analysis and reporting role with extensive use of VBA, advance excel, Power Platforms etc

Ability to establish priorities and handle multiple assignments concurrently with minimal direction in an evolving, fast paced work environment
Self-disciplined, Self-Initiating and result oriented
Proficiency with software such as MS Outlook, MS Excel, Power Platforms
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel identifying and understanding differences and similarities within multiple large data sets and software applications
