Job Description

Remote Available - within USA.
About the Role

Fortune Brands runs on Boomi. The platform carries 445 integrations and roughly 1.75 million transactions a day, spanning 11 brands and 35 business capabilities, and nearly every customer-facing system we operate connects through it. It runs around the clock.

As Senior Boomi Integration Developer, you are the United States-based technical lead for that estate. You own integration architecture, you design, build, test, deploy and support the integrations themselves, and you make the call when something breaks in production.

You are also the bridge between two groups who need each other. Business teams describe what they need in their own language. Offshore developers build against your designs. Translating the first into the second, and holding the quality of what comes back, is a large part of this job and a large part of why it matters.

This is a platform with real scale and real consequences, and you would be the person accountable for it. How we win here is not complicated. Execute every day. Be accountable. Do what needs to be done.

What You'll Do

· Oversee integration projects and design scalable integration architectures while actively contributing to hands-on coding and development.

· Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather, define, and document integration requirements.

· Translate business and end-user requirements into clear, feasible, and scalable technical specifications.

· Lead integration development activities and coordinate with onshore and offshore development teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

· Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support integration solutions throughout their lifecycle.

· Establish and ensure adherence to integration development standards, best practices, and governance across the organization.

· Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and ensure customer requirements are met by reviewing, validating, and certifying deliverables.

· Maintain the integrity, reliability, scalability, and smooth operation of the organization’s integration architecture.

· Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in integration processes, technologies, and solutions.

· Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions using both business-friendly and user-friendly language.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline.

· 5+ years of experience in integration development, including a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dell Boomi.

· 3+ years of experience in API management.

· 2+ years of experience in ETL development.

· 1+ years of experience in EDI development.

· Strong experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL databases, or similar technologies.

· Proficiency with API and web service formats/protocols, including JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and OData.

· Hands-on experience with integration, API, and EDI platforms, particularly Dell Boomi.

· Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy.

· Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.

· Strong understanding of security best practices for integrations, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, and data encryption techniques.

Nice to Haves

· Familiarity with Boomi's AI capabilities.

· Experience in integrating enterprise applications and platforms such as SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Shopify, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Service CRM, Oracle EPM, Salsify, Widen, HubSpot, Blue Yonder WMS, Bloomreach, Sage CRM, and Stripe.

· Familiarity with major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· Experience with EDI formats such as X12 and EDIFACT.

· Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development practices.
