We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity out of our Langenfeld, Germany office. 

Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) executes strategic outbound activity to create qualified business opportunities in defined Regions across EMEA. This role supports outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, sequence/cadence writing and execution, social selling, target account research, event attendance and post-event follow-up. The SDR joins a high-performing team that consistently exceeds its goals, works closely with Regional Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to build pipeline and support market growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work inbound leads within a defined SLA and qualify or disqualify against established criteria.
  • Meet business-defined key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of calls, emails, sales accepted opportunities, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Use outbound prospecting automation tools to effectively manage activities.
  • Engage with our teams to hone and develop new and meaningful outreach strategies.
  • Work with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Product Marketing to sharpen your skills, convey insights, and improve prospecting strategies.
  • Build strong knowledge of Imprivata solutions, value propositions, and common prospect objections.
  • Represent Imprivata at events and follow up with prospects to convert engagement into pipeline.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired.
  • 0-2 years’ of prospecting experience, preferably in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Proven coachable learner and high achiever with a relentless drive for monthly quota attainment.
  • Proven time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Commitment to daily activity goals to ensure consistent performance and results.
  • Experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce, and sales engagement or prospecting tools.
  • Fluent in English, German, and Italian required; Spanish language skills are preferred.
