We are currently looking to add a Research Analyst to our Global Consulting Team. This individual will support the continued development and maintenance of Emergo's regulatory intelligence knowledge base by working closely with our Research team based in the United States. This role will also provide the opportunity to conduct comprehensive research on global regulatory environments and requirements for medical devices. Active and routine monitoring of assigned countries to ensure service materials reflect current compliance requirements and announcements. This individual will create new regulatory intelligence items, maintain existing intelligence, and conduct document management activities within internal and external regulatory databases. There may also be opportunities to support introductory-level elements of research and consulting project work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform monitoring activities and report relevant regulatory updates according to standard internal processes within the expected timeframes.
- Initial assessment and review of incoming regulatory intelligence to determine the impact on Emergo's clients/service-related materials.
- Take action to develop or update content based on the initial assessment of information and communicate completed activities with the appropriate individuals.
- Manage and maintain the internal intelligence database site content in coordination with other team members.
- Create and update information as needed to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Development of new regulatory content for our internal and external regulatory intelligence systems.
- Assist in the planning of larger-scale tasks and activities that may be assigned to the team.
- Initiate content reviews and schedule out necessary activities with colleagues.
- Closely follow standardized operational procedures and best practices.
- Independently review information to ensure consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Ensure efficiency in processing information and appropriate utilization of available resources when possible.
- Adherence to deadlines and completion of tasks within communicated timeframes, both internal and external.
- Support aspects of consulting project work as requested and with the direction of a team Lead or Regulatory Consultant.
- Accurate and timely submission of timesheets (if applicable).
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) from an accredited program in a related field, generally plus three years of related work experience.
- Strong research, comprehension, and writing skills, including the ability to summarize technical and regulatory information in a narrative form.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and keep track of several tasks and responsibilities at once.
- Independent and proactive management of all assigned activities with limited need for follow-up.
- Ability to perform research utilizing a variety of resources (internal, official government websites, general web searches, etc.)
- Receptive to feedback and willing to engage colleagues to support learning.
- Capacity to appropriately prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Excellent planning and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications is preferred; the capacity to learn software programs quickly.
- Excellent English language skills required.
- No previous regulatory experience required, though considered favorable.
- Experience working in an environment with minimal supervision is a plus, but not required.
