Process Engineering Associate (Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt Certification)
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Improvement lead to drive operational excellence and efficiency across our knowledge organization. This role focuses on leading impactful projects focused on establishing or improving processes and associated metrics focused on a consistent output that meets or exceeds our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enable UL Solutions knowledge activities with defined processes, policies, and procedures.
- Develop, optimize and improve processes to enhance productivity and drive efficiencies and consistency.
- Develop/improve metrics, monitor and analyze data to ensure sustained and continuous process improvement.
- Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet efficiency targets.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
- Performs other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Certification: Preferred Lean Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and Green Belt Training
- Experience: Minimum 2 years leading small to mid-sized process improvement projects; 6+ years overall experience in process optimization or related roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and associated tools.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving process issues.\\
- Collaboration & Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Strives for operational excellence by focusing on continuous and sustained process improvement
