The Opportunity
The Service Financials team within the Technology Business Management Office (TBMO) enables transparency and accountability in IT spending through a structured chargeback model tied to our Service Catalog. By aligning financials with industry-standard taxonomy and benchmarking practices, the team empowers business leaders to make informed, strategic decisions that maximize the value of IT investments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and continuously improve the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework, including TBM taxonomy, service costing, chargeback, showback, and allocation models.
  • Develop and maintain technology cost models that provide transparency into infrastructure, applications, cloud, and shared services costs.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, and financial analysis activities, providing insights to support technology investment decisions.
  • Analyze technology spending, cost drivers, consumption patterns, and service demand to identify optimization opportunities and improve cost efficiency.
  • Support technology billing, allocations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial controls to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
  • Deliver executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and recommendations that translate complex financial and technology data into actionable insights.
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Application Development, Service Owners, Finance, and Technology leaders to align funding strategies, understand cost drivers, and improve business outcomes.
  • Conduct benchmark to evaluate technology cost, service performance, and value delivery.
  • Establish governance, documentation, and repeatable processes that support TBM reporting, planning, and financial management activities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and TBM subject matter expert, helping stakeholders understand the relationship between technology spending, consumption, and business value.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation of TBM reporting, analytics, and financial processes.
  • Promote best practices across TBM and financial management processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT Finance, Technology Financial Management (ITFM), FinOps, or related disciplines.
  • Strong accounting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting experience.
  • Deep understanding of TBM taxonomy, service costing, allocations, chargeback/showback, and technology cost transparency (Apptio highly preferred).
  • Experience analyzing technology infrastructure, cloud, application, and shared service costs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial and technical concepts to both Finance and Technology leadership.
  • Experience creating executive presentations, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • IBM Apptio experience (Cost Transparency, TBM Studio, Planning, BI, Cloudability).
  • Experience with technology chargeback/showback, Bill of IT, service costing, or consumption-based allocation models.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or similar analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud financial management and FinOps practices.
  • TBM Council certification, FinOps certification, CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar credentials.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $120 ,000 - $162,000 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
