Key Responsibilities
- Execute production runs in different actuarial models to support reporting for:
- Cash Flow Testing
- Embedded Value
- GAAP
- Statutory reserves
- Risk Based Capital
- Economic Capital
- Asset Liability Management
- Execute production runs for actuarial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness .
- Monitor and troubleshoot production processes , identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain and update documentation related to production processes and model runs.
- Provide support and training to team members on production processes and tools as needed
- Ensure that all actuarial processes include appropriate controls and comply with regulatory and company standards.
- Assist in the preparation of result s for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements using automation tools such as Python to enhance efficiency , accuracy , scalability and control .
- Use approved AI tools in day-to-day activities to support analysis, documentation, quality checks and stakeholder communication, with appropriate human review.
- Identify , assess and deliver opportunities to automate or transform business-as-usual activities using AI, reducing manual effort, improving turnaround times and strengthening process quality.
- Actively engage with business partners across the organization to improve our production processes
- Key Contributor on making overall modelling work Agile
Skills- Ability to handle tools and software to initiate set-up and execute runs
- Ability to find solutions within agreed timescales
- Excellent ability to communicate in English, (both written and verbal)
- Good business acumen
Advantageous skills and experience:- An understanding of actuarial reporting software such as Prophet ,Polysystems
- Knowledge of other modelling platforms including MG ALFA, MoSeS , Pathw is e
- Knowledge of programming in Python, VBA or other mainstream languages
- Knowledge of AI tools
