Position Summary
• Knowledge of STLC and SDLC
• Knowledge of Agile and traditional methodologies and basic AI understanding
• Writing test scenarios/test cases (Functional, System, Integration, and UAT)
• Perform and Support Manual testing and knowledge of Automation testing
• Defect Management (Any defect management tool preferably Azure)
• Perform and support data setup activities and preparation of test data
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Working awareness of other MS applications (word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good in verbal and written communication
- Should be able to do client communication
Job Responsibilities
• Test bed Preparation (test scenarios, test scripts, test data, loading them in Azure)
• Creating test scenarios / test cases that map to Good Data, Bad Data and No Data points
• Executing test scripts (Manual and/or Automated)
• Logging Defects in Azure and maintaining Defect Management
• Collation of test results and preparing sign off related documentation
• Ability to work with Excel and Access to work with large data sets, predominantly to prepare test data
• Understanding/analysis of the requirement (BRD/Use case/Feature/User Story)
• Good analytical skills and well-versed in documentation and communication
• Familiarity with different file formats; text, csv, dat - ability to convert and manipulated files.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology and Automation testing tools - Selenium, TOSCA etc
• Understanding and knowledge of AI Basics
• Daily and weekly reporting

Education
Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Applications / Computer Science (B.Tech./B.E./BCA/MCA)
Experience

Technical Skills
• Testing knowledge - writing test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans, estimation
• Manual (functional, Integration, System, UAT) & Automation Testing
• Defect Management - (Any defect management tool preferably Azure)

• Good Analytical and Logical Reasoning skills
• Good Problem resolution skill

• Escalate issues if required

Skills Required
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science, such as B.Tech., B.E., BCA, or MCA
- 1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of STLC and SDLC
- Experience writing test cases, scenarios, test plans, and estimates
- Manual functional, integration, system, and UAT testing experience
- Knowledge of automation testing
- Defect management experience, preferably using Microsoft Azure
- In-depth Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and VLOOKUP
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Agile and traditional methodologies
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or TOSCA
- Ability to prepare and manipulate large datasets using Excel and Access
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client communication
- Good analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-resolution skills
- Knowledge of basic AI concepts
- ISTQB certification
