Resolves assembly defects through root-cause analysis, tracks yield, implements error-proofing, and maintains compliance with manufacturing, quality, safety, and electromagnetic standards. Documents routings, process flows, SOPs, takt times, and cycle times while coordinating assembly, wiring, and functional testing.

Develops and manufactures machining and production fixtures using milling, turning, drilling, and welding. Interprets engineering drawings and GD&T, coordinates with design and production teams, plans fixture manufacturing, performs dimensional inspections, assembles fixtures and machines, troubleshoots issues, ensures quality compliance, and supports continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Source and manage subcontract suppliers, process job orders, verify supplier stock, evaluate and develop suppliers, and resolve supplier-side problems. The role requires developing alternate sources for surface coating processes, including ED coating, powder coating, costing, and painting, along with knowledge of machining processes and SAP.

Maintain and monitor plant machinery, equipment, and utility systems to support smooth operations, minimize downtime, and ensure reliable facility performance.

Perform maintenance, warranty, AMC, and breakdown services for cleaning machines. Install and commission new equipment at customer locations, diagnose technical issues, and restore equipment uptime. Build positive customer relationships through prompt, professional service. Complete service reports and follow company safety and quality standards.

Leads environmental, health, and safety initiatives in a fabrication and assembly manufacturing environment. Identifies risks through HIRA and job safety analysis, implements preventive actions, drives behavior-based safety, and improves TRIR and LTIR performance. Establishes policies for working at height, lifting, electrical work, welding, LOTO, contractor management, and incident management. Maintains statutory compliance and conducts regular safety process walks with team leaders, supervisors, and operators.
