Leads automotive functional safety engineering at the system level, including customer requirement analysis, functional and technical safety concepts, safety requirements, system architecture, and safety analyses. Collaborates with hardware, software, and systems teams; supports safety plans and safety cases; and promotes functional safety practices. The role requires extensive automotive engineering and ISO 26262 experience, knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, requirements management, and strong communication skills.

Plans production and customer demand for plant operations, including SIOP, MPS, capacity management, daily finished-goods schedules, shop-order releases, material availability, and recovery actions. Maintains production and customer-delivery metrics, coordinates on-time shipments, manages PRP processes, and supports procurement, inventory control, vendor scheduling, and customer service activities.

Intern will evaluate and implement AI technologies that improve automotive embedded software development. Supports day-to-day HR operations for the Garrett organization by coordinating with Fuyo Outsourcing & Consulting to ensure smooth, accurate HR services. Provides support to the Country HR Leader for Japan as requested.

Leads a global customer business segment with full P&L and strategy responsibility. Manages customer relationships, negotiations, launches, risk, costs, pricing, quality, delivery, and new business development. Coordinates cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, quality, finance, program management, and industrialization. Sets long-term strategy, financial plans, performance metrics, and team objectives while driving Six Sigma, DFSS, customer satisfaction, and on-time, on-budget product launches.

Manage complex new product launch and running-change programs from planning through closure. Lead cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, procurement, plant, supplier, and customer teams while controlling timing, cost, quality, capacity, and capital targets. Supports general ledger accounting, fixed asset management, statutory and US GAAP reporting, account reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, audits, and internal controls. Advanced Excel, SAP FI, analytical skills, attention to detail, and at least three years of accounting experience are required.
