As a Legal Ops Assistant, you will handle various overflow tasks to support Case Managers, conduct client check-ins, and manage case updates in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves executing legal processes for sales, negotiating complex agreements, collaborating with multiple internal teams, and improving legal documentation for a cloud-based service company.

Serve as fractional Chief Legal Counsel/General Counsel advising alternative asset firms and family offices on securities law, fund formation, regulatory compliance, contracts, transactions, governance, litigation and vendor relationships. Lead fund structuring, investor negotiations, regulatory responses, training, policy development, and special projects while managing outside counsel and legal budgets across US and international jurisdictions.

Review and evaluate two AI-generated legal responses for accuracy and client-readiness, provide written feedback to improve model behavior, and join onboarding and calibration sessions. Role is part-time (6–15 hours/week) and requires employment/labor law expertise, strong legal research and writing, and a U.S. law degree and license.
