Data Engineering Intern supporting MEMX exchange data projects. Responsibilities include collecting, organizing, validating, and improving data processes used for reporting and analysis. Develop customer analytics that improve retention, growth, adoption, and operational performance. Build and maintain BI dashboards, customer health metrics, churn-risk reporting, and predictive models. Partner with Client Success, Product, Sales, and Operations to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations. The role also owns data quality, governance, reporting automation, workflow improvements, and stakeholder communication.

Administers and secures Microsoft SQL Server databases, supports database-driven applications, and develops Power BI analytics solutions. Manages backups, recovery, performance, security, integrations, and production support. Administers the Alation data catalog and advances metadata management, data governance, stewardship, data quality, and literacy. Partners with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, resolve complex issues, and deliver reliable, governed data services. Occasional after-hours work and travel may be required.

Builds and maintains scalable data pipelines and reusable datasets in Databricks. Ingests, validates, transforms, and models structured and unstructured data using Python, PySpark, and SQL. Integrates warehouse and cloud analytics systems, supports Tableau and Spotfire reporting, improves reliability and performance, and implements testing, monitoring, documentation, and CI/CD. Collaborates with technical and business stakeholders while providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.

Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI dashboards, reports, visualizations, and data models. Translates stakeholder requirements into reporting solutions, integrates SQL, Excel, and cloud data sources, optimizes queries and report performance, ensures data accuracy and access controls, and supports data governance. Provides documentation, user guidance, and training while continuously improving analytics solutions.

Lead the design and operation of Salesforce and Qualified’s data platform, including data models, ETL pipelines, event streaming, analytics infrastructure, APIs, and enterprise-scale data flows. Establish data quality standards, observability, and reliability practices while delivering complex initiatives from design through production. Partner with product and engineering leadership, mentor engineers, and shape architecture for AI-powered products requiring fresh, trustworthy data.

Support Maui post-disaster recovery by managing and developing project data systems, building backend database structures, updating website front-ends, and producing internal and external data metrics and visualizations to inform project leads, improve forecasting, and enable transparent, resilient infrastructure decision-making.
