- Prepares the production floor for daily production.
- Monitors hourly/daily production.
- Review production processes for accuracy and quality requirements.
- Train/maintain training of team member in processes.
- Monitors team members or production machines for improvement suggestions.
- Communicate with associates, supervisors and other key business stakeholders effectively including start of shift meetings, shift turnover communication ex. reports/emails.
- Assist with material loading and unloading as necessary from PIT equipment.
- May be required to stock lines as needed.
- Assists production operators as necessary.
- Meets area KPI metrics as assigned by area.
- Assists in training associates as needed and offers feedback on performance issues.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area through 6S standards.
- May plan and organize the execution of daily schedule and staffing needs.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing improvement ideas in work area.
- Works through conflicts efficiently.
- Coaches and addresses policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create a positive teamwork atmosphere through work ethics and habits.
- Ability to coach and develop production associates when needed.
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic understanding of computers and programs (SAP, Microsoft Office)
- Associates can have no written disciplinary warnings within six (6) months of posting date.
- Associates cannot have less than 17 hours of UTO.
- Associates must be able to work 8+ hours per day and 40+ hours per week.
