Job Description

  • Material Stocker stores, issues, and moves a variety of materials and products, which includes frequent lifting of boxes (3-45 lbs) off pallets (6 inches off floor to chest level) and/or VGV’s.
  • Maintains and verifies actual inventory and materials being handled.
  • Supplies parts for a line(s) and transports material through the plant as needed.
  • Operates a variety of material handling equipment to move material throughout the plant.
  • May disassemble, sort, repair, and salvage a variety of products.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced.
  • Assists in training other associates.
  • Flexes into the line as needed.
  • Accuracy of Inventory record and Quality of work is essential.
  • Responsible for a neat, orderly, and safe work area.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $33,300 USD - $43,472 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
