We are looking for a Junior .NET Engineer, based in Sofia, Bulgaria (hybrid mode of working).
Role Summary
As a Junior .NET Engineer you'll design, develop, and maintain software components using C# and .NET, delivering new features and enhancements for existing products.
We are looking for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, investigating complex problems, and developing sustainable solutions through analytical thinking, curiosity, and engineering discipline.
This role is designed primarily for students in their final years of study, recent graduates, and early-career software engineers who are looking to build a strong foundation in software development while working on real products used by customers worldwide. We also welcome applications from more experienced candidates who are excited by the opportunity to contribute and grow within the team.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and maintain software solutions using C# and .NET.
- Build new features and enhance existing products.
- Design, develop, and support RESTful and WCF services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple applications and services.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server to manage and optimize data solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and help improve software quality and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and support modern CI/CD and software delivery practices.
What You Bring To The Team:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with C# and .NET through studies, internships, personal projects, or work experience.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, service-oriented architectures, and WCF.
- Understanding of SQL Server, CRUD operations, and core networking concepts.
- Experience with Git-based source control and project management tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with an eagerness to learn CI/CD practices and modern software development approaches.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
